The C4 Corvette refers to the fourth generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, produced from 1984 to 1996. This generation marked a significant redesign, moving away from the earlier C3 models with a focus on a more modern and aerodynamic look. The C4 Corvette was designed by a team led by Chief Designer Dave McLellan, who played a significant role in the development of the Corvette brand. The exterior styling was influenced by designer Chuck Jordan and his team, incorporating a more modern and aerodynamic look compared to its predecessor, the C3.

The design process focused on improving aerodynamics, performance, and incorporating advanced technology, resulting in a vehicle that was both visually striking and performance-oriented. The C4’s design is often credited with helping to redefine the Corvette as a serious sports car for the modern era.

This 1965 Cadillac DeVille convertible has reportedly remained in the same family since new and was acquired by the current owner in 2018. The car is powered by a 429ci V8 linked with a Turbo Hydra-Matic three-speed automatic transmission and is refinished in red over black upholstery. Equipment includes a power-operated white soft top, a power antenna, rear fender skirts, a black vinyl tonneau cover, an Altec Lansing audio system, an aftermarket cassette player, and power windows. The brakes are said to have been serviced in April 2022. This DeVille convertible is now offered on dealer consignment with a Washington State title.
